Indian television actor Harsh Rajput is all set to portray the role of a vampire in the upcoming TV show titled “Kuch Toh Hai – Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein” which is scheduled to begin from Sunday, February 7, at 8 pm on Colors TV.
Naagin 5 is about to come to an end and give way to a new show which will feature Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee in the lead role. However, Naagin 5 has a decent fan following, but the TRP of the serial was not that much. Consequently, television producer Ekta Kapoor is introducing a new supernatural TV show entitled “Kuch Toh Hai – Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein”.
In the new TV show, Harsh Rajput, who played as Davansh in Gul Khan’s Nazar, will play a role of a vampire. Landing in another supernatural serial, Harsh Rajput stated, “I have been in the industry for 14 years now and I feel this is a result of all the hard work and efforts for many years. But, yes, I do love being part of supernatural shows. I played Daavansh in Nazar and maybe people liked that character and the makers felt I would suit the vampire character in Kuch Toh Hai.”
He further said that essaying a vampire is the fulfillment of his childhood dreams of playing such characters. He has been a big fan of fiction-fantasy characters, superhero, stories, as well as an international television show Vampire Diaries, since his childhood.
On a hilarious note, Harsh Rajput disclosed that he has an aversion for blood in real life. He becomes dizzy when he gets cut or sees blood on his own finger. He is happy being an actor and playing such interesting characters. He is looking forward to this fresh start after spending many months at home due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The actor also revealed that he is following a diet to represent the role of a vampire on the screen. He has been following the 80:20 diet, in which his food contains 80 per cent protein and the remaining 20 per cent are vegetables. He also works out for two hours every day in the gym because a fantasy-fiction show demands much more effort for performing daredevil stunts unlike a regular television serial, which is mainly shot in the kitchen, living room or bedroom.
